Future Plans

Thanks to Muffy and Andy Hammond of Apple Valley, Minnesota!!  They gave a wonderful gift in memory of Andy's mother, Martha Hammond, which provided us with the opportunity to continue building houses in our community.

Leland Habitat for Humanity has purchased additional property in the "New Town" community of Leland on Third and McGee Streets, and Collier Alley.  There is enough property to build 12 new homes.  We are planning for these homes now, and will build over the next several years.

There were 13 shacks torn down (which recently had families living in them).  The property has had plats made for each new house site.  Click here for pictures.

Leland Habitat needs your help in building these homes!!

Click here to see the shacks being removed and
the progress on clearing the property and preparing house lots.

From the corner of Dean Street, we are looking east down
McGee Street toward Railroad Avenue
