Mission Statement
Leland Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization formed for the

which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Is looking for tools, crews, sponsors, and volunteers for continued construction of Habitat houses |
| Is led by an 15-member board of directors and volunteer committees. |
Was selected to build an "Oprah House"--one of four in Mississippi |
| Has located property and raised money to build eighteen houses in Leland. |
Will eliminate substandard and poverty housing in Leland, Mississippi |
| Has tithed 10% of all cash contributions to Habitat International for the purpose of building homes in Central America providing homes for many families. |
Hosted volunteer work teams (both college students and Care-A-Vanners) from Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Arkansas, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Texas, Georgia, and many other locations |

Has completed House #26 with a dedication ceremony on November 27, 2007. |

Received a financial gift from Andy and Muffy Hammond in memory of Andy's mother, Martha Hammond, and have purchased property enough to build 12 houses. |
House #27 and #28 are currently under construction. |
